The Dream of the Yerres River

2026 · 46 × 55 cm, oil on canvas The Dream of the Yerres River emerged from a walk along the Yerres, where the landscape gradually shifted into something more internal and unstable. The scene unfolds between two contrasting spaces — a vivid, almost burning upper world and a fluid, submerged depth below. A luminous passage connects them, suggesting a transition rather than a boundary. The branches stretch across the surface, guiding the gaze while holding onto fragments of reality. This work is not a depiction of a place, but of a state — dreamlike moment where perception becomes uncertain and the familiar turns slightly unreal.

Chapel of Anxiety

2025 · 100 × 100 cm, acrylic on canvas In this piece, a ghostly chapel emerges from a sea of deep blues and restless skies. The structure, both sacred and unsettling, seems to dissolve into its surroundings, as though the weight of unspoken fears and collective memories have begun to erode its walls. Streams of crimson bleed into the ethereal blue, hinting at unseen wounds and ancient grief. This painting reflects the tension between inner sanctuary and suffocating dread — a place meant for solace now charged with the energy of anxiety.
